On April 23, Experts of SQI hosted and held a video conference for ISO/TC 136/WG 7. On the meeting, experts discussed the text and feedback of the 4th working group draft of ISO / WD 23769 Measuring Method of Functional Characteristics of Furniture Mattresses. In view of the key problems such as rolling durability, vertical durability, edge durability and impact of mattress, the Secretariat communicated and discussed with experts from many countries. Due to the full preparation before the meeting, the revised programme was confirmed by all the experts. Finally, it was agreed that the project would skip the committee draft (CD) and go directly to the international standard draft stage (DIS).

Through this meeting, as the convener and Secretary of WG7, experts of SQI have accumulated rich experience in organizing and coordinating experts at home and abroad to participate in the meeting, using ISO / IEC Guidelines, remote control international conference process, etc., which has positive practical significance for China to further undertake the work of international furniture standardization related organizations and promote the Chinese standards to go out.
